Something random... I was kinda free that day, so decided to clear my room a bit... I always bear not throw stuff, now my room is getting more and more messy... *sigh* but seems like it didn't help much even after the clearing... My room still looks crowded! =( Anyways, I recycled some of my clothes (and a cap)... Cos' I downsized my cupboard last year, then it's super difficult to take clothes when it's so squeezy inside! Many of them I never wear for years liao, but then got memories attached to it wor... xD decided to keep it in a more compact way- take photos =) Starting from Primary School days...  (Front) Look at the paint stain there... Proof of being an art student! Lolx. (Back) This shirt, I think got 10 years+ le bah, since primary school... I don't mind continue wearing it at home loe, but then too small liao... =/ Oh I love this shirt, it's very very comfortable... But got holes liao, then a bit tight... *sigh* I think this shirt belonged to my big bro, then pass to my second bro, then pass to me... =P Chicago Bulls was a very famous basketball team then ok! When Michael Jordan was still in there... Lolx. Dragonball! My whole family (except my dad) loved this anime! Lolx... I quite like this shirt too! The colours are quite nice ;) haha... But then it's too small too... I remember there's actually this matching shorts, but don't know go where liao =( hmmm now to think of it... Seems like only small kids and old people wear 全套装... =PGoing on to Secondary School days...  Uh-huh, yes, I was a prefect! Lolx... I remember there was once, our form teacher Ms.Cheok summoned a few of us to her office. Then I told the others "orh hor, u all die liao, got me here, surely nothing good... U all did something wrong?" In the end Ms.Cheok told us we were chosen to go for the prefect interview XD hahahaha! If I didn't remember wrongly, this shirt was an idea of Mr.Suparman (principal during our sec2 year, NOT Mr.Superman), made for Beatty's 50th anniversary celebrations... The colour looks alright here, but it is in fact a brighter yellow... I got a strong feeling I'd never ever get to wear it again, so recycled it. I like the embroidered logo though... But didn't cut it down lah, the shirt will pain leh... =X One year later, the Beatty Prefectorial Board closed. NO, not cos' got me inside! Lolx... It closed cos' it was changed to Student Council. Aiya, sound nice only lah, also no difference one... Actually my idea was that Prefects are like teachers' helpers, help to "book" people and do events preparation, whereas Councillors are more student-oriented, reflect views of the student population to the school management and plan more events to promote school culture... Aiya, 只可惜少年不得志。，是他们错失人才。Haha! =P Well, to be truthful, I wasn't a very enthusiastic Prefect/Councillor to start with lah. Band is so much more interesting! Haha... Got this cap as a souvenir from NCO camp... Never wore this cap before, but kept it for sentimental value... It turned brown, I think got algae or what? Haha... Was kinda disgusting, so threw it into the recycling bin. Lolx. At the same year, we attended sec3 camp. Seriously I cannot remember at all what happened there. Lolx. (Back) Then came sec4... My final year... (Front) And we were made to wear this funny shirt! Beatty HULALA~~?! Lolx. Mr.Boo (principal from sec3 onwards) was very creative and decided that Beatty should break a national record so that hopefully we'd become famous =) ha... ha... ha... Seriously, Beatty's art department is not bad loe. Why do they have to take designing tees into their own hands, especially when this is for the whole school!? =/ ok so anyways, wanna know what the record was? Guess from the name... Yes, break record with hula hoops. The whole school held hands and transferred the hula hoop from one end to the other. So apparently we broke the record for passing hula hoop through the most number of people... How cool hurh~ We even had a few practices before the actual thing ok! Got training during PE somemore...Very soon, we were out of Secondary School and on to another school...  (Front) First 3 months I was at YJC. Seriously I quite liked the school... The teachers I had are all quite nice... (Back) This tee was too big and it was dri-fit, which I didn't like, so decided to recycle it... (Front) 3 months passed, and I ended up in NYJC instead. This is the LEP club tee... (Back) I quite like this logo... But it doesn't seem to go with the bamboo design in front... (Side) I love embroidered stuff on tees I realise... Aiya but this shirt I know I'd never wear it again and it's white, so was kinda yellowish le... =/Blur blur anyhow slack here slack there, 2 years passed, and on I went into SMU...  Don't be shocked, I might be in SMU now, but I don't see any occasion of which I'd wear this shirt. Got it for free during orientation... It's too big for me lah... Recycle!That's all... Think I'd clear out many more... In future. Haha... Don't see this few clothes only, I spent quite a lot of time clearing them out leh... It's difficult to part with things, not to say people... (0_0) what's the link? Haha I don't know. Just being random all day long~~ |

23rd May (Morning) It's the day of our weekly family sports day again! =) heehee... Haven't joined my family for that for very long le... Cos' I always can't wake up in time! xD but anyways, on this day, we didn't really do any sports either! So I'd say this is more of a 亲近大自然 day lah... =P  Breakfast? Yeap yeap, mummy is making sandwiches... D-kor and CW-kor started cycling while Minfei jie, Yupei jie and I helped mummy with the sandwich making... Then we are all off to the reservoir! Lolx. I agree this looks like Lower Peirce Reservoir (the one near my house that I always go to), but this is actually its "elder brother", Upper Peirce Reservoir! Upon reaching, we the ladies found a spot and spread the groundsheet! Lolx. Yeap, we girls drove there with the food... It's picnic time! Hohoho... We had a sumptuous breakfast: tuna mayo sandwich, ham and cheese sandwich, hot tea, iced milo, chips... =DThen it started to get hot as 12noon nears, so we shifted to the nearby table under the shade...  Play memory game! Lolx. My memory was the worst of the lot though I am the youngest of them all xD oh no~妈妈好久好久没带我们去野餐，我也好久好久没来到这个蓄水池了呢... 回想起以前在小学的时候，当表弟还在世时，妈妈和阿姨时常会带我和几个表弟妹去海边或蓄水池野餐... 大人们坐在那里聊天，而我们小孩子就到处跑，每次都玩得满身汗，乐得不愿回家，一直到天黑... 记得有一次，就在这个蓄水池，我正追着表弟妹跑，在转弯时不小心滑到了，结果削去了膝盖的一片皮。站起来时，膝盖并没流血，只是白色一片。为了不惊动大人 （以免她们拉我们回家），表弟妹们连忙悄悄地把我扶到一个背向这大人们的亭子坐下。我看膝盖白白的，觉得奇怪，便用双手挤了一下周围的肉。怎知这么一挤，血就不停地涌了出来！哈哈... 我吩咐表弟妹假装要擦汗，去向大人们那纸巾回来。结果用了好多张纸巾还是血流不止，表弟妹们就只好扶着我去报告大人们了... 这是至少十年前的事了吧... (Afternoon)  So anyways, after the relaxing outdoor breakfast, we went home at noon to bathe and then made our way to Aunty Doreen's house. Eat Hainanese Chicken Rice! =D yummy~ See the 3 chicken rice balls? 正宗海南鸡饭的吃法哦！My grandma make de... Heehee... Longan with Almond Jelly, also made by my grandma! Yummy~ She even made another 3 boxes for me to bring home! Hohoho... Do we look alike? Lolx... Playing with my grandma's specs again... D-kor and I were imitating CW-kor's smile, cos he said he doesn't know how to smile with his teeth showing. Haha! Who looks like Pucca more? Hahaha...(Night)  "0611 combined clique + Shang Ya + me" BBQ. Lolx... Qian Yu gets all excited seeing so much food. HAHA! Shang Yi and Shang Ya were the main chef... We had quite a spread! Meatballs, fishballs, nuggets, garlic bread, chicken sausages, chinese sausages, black pepper chicken, stingray, crabmeat, marshmallow... Edy was the happiest guy. LOLx... After the BBQ, we had some entertainment... To finish up all the leftover food! Nope we didn't play the number game, we played Indian Poker instead. In the end, I think Ping Jim and Yan Rui ate the most!Sievunnia and Edy had left early, Yong Jun, Yan Rui, Shang Yi and Shang Ya walked out to the bus stop and I sent Ping Jim, Jolyn, Qian Yu and Jiaci to Ang Mo Kio... Not sure if all of them managed to catch the last bus/train, cos' it was already midnight by the time they left... Next time come earlier bah! =) |

Went back to NYJC again this morning! This time with Patricia and Yifang. Oh and 黄老师 finally came to the canteen with us. Haha... We went back this time mainly to visit Yen Lin actually. She is an intern there at the Chinese Department! =D so brave lah... Think I'd be damn scared to teach students who are almost of similar age to me and to have my ex-teacher as my mentor too! Damn stressed de leh... =P 张老师 brought us to 博文轩 after breakfast. Such a long time since I last stepped into that place... I seldom go there during JC days too, but still, there's this 熟悉感 when inside... *shrugs* so anyways, after that, we drove to Samantha's place. Very nice condo! The theme is music, so there's many statues of angels playing music and there's even classical music greeting us when we walked in through the gate! Woo... Love it. Hohoho =P Her house is very neat and fully air-conditioned, which makes it very conducive to sleep...  Look at the sleepy head here... Haha! But of cos' we didn't waste time sleeping at her place! When we came back from having brunch at McDonald's near her place, we started playing Wii... The pro... The newbie... And the audience! Haha! Pat and I were practically watching action comedy =P u all should see Yifang playing Wii, it's hilarious... She's so kanchiong, she kept standing up and sitting down! Lolx.We took turns to play... Then Samantha went to bring out her favourite cartoon character...  麦兜 piggy. Lolx. It's huge... Samantha has a few soft toys that are of this size on her bed... I wonder how she sleeps at night! So squeezy... While the others played Wii, I started playing with 麦兜... Tried different ways that 麦兜 can wear his shirt... Since he only has one shirt, must try different styles to spice up his life rite... Lolx. Wah, warning: following picture not suitable for children under 20... Hahaha... =PYeap, so when Yifang is finally satisfied with her Mario Kart accomplishment, we went to play basketball for about an hour... Wah very long never play basketball le, feel very shiok. But then was so tired after just such a short "match"... Bad bad. Old liao. Must really do more sports this holiday! Exhausted, we went back to Samantha's house and watched Marley & Me on DVD. The show's alright lah. Haha... Wasn't as good as I expected. Probably heard too many praises so had too high an expectation... It's shiok watching movie at Samantha's house! Got surround sound, big TV screen and comfy sofa. Lolx. After the show, we dropped Pat at Khatib MRT, then drove back to my place for Casuarina Prata =) |

14th May 大家好！Lolx... Let my 'wife' greet u all... OK actually this is our group photo loe... Spot us in the eyes (or rather, her $1.90 sunglass) of Yifang! =P  "益芳有点像韩星嘞！" "哇，我要跟她拍！" "这样我也要！" Don't know why that day bump into so many 明星s leh... It really wasn't that sunny... Lolx =P Samantha, Yifang, me and Patricia had an outing together at Sentosa! =) Wonder what she's doing? Drawing footprints. Lolx. Shang, does this look familiar to u? Remember the movie we watched at my place, titled "ALONE"? xD Future teacher... Even beach also become her whiteboard. 哎呀，我被记名字了！ Ohh... Seow, Sam, Sum & Fang. What is she up to again? Stone skipping! Look at the positions of their hands... Quite funny. Lolx. Yeap, all the while I was sitting back at the mat observing the three of them. Haha! Patricia emo... She is missing her bed =P Coincidentally, we all wore yellow except Pat, who brought a yellow picnic mat. Haha! Were we all thinking of the sun at the beach when we choose what to wear out? xD I look like some guy from The Beatles xD see how happy Samantha is to take pic with a superstar? =P 她们真的好 high 喔... Pat and I decided to take a pic together, but unlike the 2 明星s, we didn't know how to pose. Yifang said we look like some tourist and Samantha said we remind her of a photo that her parents took together decades ago at the beach. Lolx. So Samantha decided to give us a hand... A jump... A run... Ya, probably that made our pictures less monotonous? xD but hor... Samantha, u look like some 路人甲! Lolx~ 黄衣一族。After that, we took the monorail back to Vivo and had lunch.  Dreaming about Prince Charming... Pat, u look like u r greeting the emperor with that pose. Can imagine u saying "参见皇上！" Forgot what was I doing then. Lolx. What a look. So unglam. Oops. Yifang keep taking evidence of me looking at Samantha! Don't be jealous... =P Pat's hands are so cute! Mini... =P Dots leh... Haha!After lunch, we went to catch a movie (the only show that all of us could and want to watch) and then went to eat chicken rice at the Boon Tong Kee near Yifang's place...
